Description
Finally I get around to finishing the Red Dragon. I almost feel guilty because I've not been able to post here for a while, but here he is anyway.. Big Red

i find weird the way his right fore leg is connected with the body of the dragon, i find this a bit unnatural, but, well, the rest is awesome.

Great work.

be something to work on giving things more depth ... perhaps even dirtying up textures so it doesn't have that plastic look, using a Shellac Skin with Oylinn-Blinn shade. Useing bump maps to the fullest effect is also a good idea, make sure you use a blue scale picture with white as the indents/cracks and work on those AS much as you would on the actual skin as they add alot of character.
using a good GI Render engine like, Brazil - Arnold - Max5's is good and helps alot of the more subtle shadows that you'd never have even though of just to add that second depth layer.
good work though

If you had very different textures for dragon and castel, only the light could give the red mood. Then, the image would have a bit more of strength.
And try to add another light, up in the sky, like the moon's one.
Its impact would be better.
Nice work - +4/7

sry, but i agree with him. the neck and the body confused me for a while. i took me a couple of seconds to figure out how teh neck curves and stuff. my first impression was that the head stuck straight out of the body. the neck also covers alot of the body and that left leg.

I gave it +3, just cause the flesh makes it looks like "plastic artificial".
